How They Do Garbage in Seattle

How They Do SeattleIn Seattle, garbage is picked up curbside in three bins. A sixty gallon blue bin for recyclables (paper, newsprint, glass, and many plastics); a green bin for yard waste and food scraps (including dairy and meat scraps); and a black bin for garbage. Recyclables and yard waste/compost are picked up every week, while garbage is picked up every other week. I forgot to ask how much it costs.
